Sailing aboard the E/V Nautilus’s seafloor mapping of Wake Island Expedition sharing the research conducted on board through livestreams and social media content.

Erin is supporting parabolic flight company Zero G with sharing and explaining the microgravity research conducted on board their 30 parabola flights.
She interviews scientists before and after flight, takes on the challenge of explaining the research while floating, shows what research flights are actually like, highlights how this data will be used in space and back on Earth, and edits videos upon return to the ground,

Followed the company from announcement of a major NASA contract to present to grow their social media presence alongside the engineering design process. Focused on balancing lighthearted content with creating transparency during technological development.

Erin sailed on the scientific drilling vessel, the JOIDES Resolution, to share the ocean research conducted onboard this expedition in the Mediterranean and North Atlantic. She hosted and managed ship-to-shore calls with classrooms and museums, ran the expedition’s social media, and developed her short-form video project covering the science of the mission.
